Effective on First Day of Employment

Premier Health Insurance - Our employee health plan includes the following elements:

  • Medical - CNIC administers our preferred provider organization (PPO) plan. We offer three levels of coverage including a high deductable health plan with a Health Savings Account (HDHP/HSA). CNIC uses the Rocky Mountain Health Plan's "ASO" network.
  • Dental - We offer an indemnity plan, meaning you can choose any dentist you wish. This allows for flexibility and makes the coverage easy to use. The plan covers preventative treatment, specific procedures, and orthodontics (for both children and adults).
  • Vision - COPIC's vision plan network and administration is through Vision Service Plan of Colorado (VSP). VSP has an extensive network and offers a comprehensive plan to meet your vision needs.

Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) - We provide valuable life and AD&D coverage for employees. We also provide a small life and AD&D coverage for employees' spouses and dependent children.

Paid Time Off (PTO) - PTO accrual is based on length of service. Full-time employees accrue four weeks of PTO every year. After five years of service this accrual increases to five weeks every year. After ten years of service this accrual increases to six weeks every year.

Holidays - We  offer 11 paid holidays annually (including floating holidays which you can use throughout the year).

Retirement - COPIC's 401(k) plan allows employees to invest pre-tax or post-tax (Roth 401(k)) dollars and receive matching contributions from the company. We match dollar-for-dollar up to 5% of the employee's annual pay. The defined pension plan is an additional retirement plan we offer to all eligible employees after one year of employment.

Additional Benefits

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - We offer a free, confidential service to employees whose personal issues are affecting their work performance, family, or other aspects of their lives. The EAP provides assessment, referral, focused therapy, and coaching for you and your household members for dealing with many different personal issues.

Learning and Development - COPIC is committed to investing in ways for our employees to grow through ongoing career and personal development. We encourage participation in learning opportunities like workshops and seminars with external training companies. In addition, we offer employee tuition reimbursement for eligible educational pursuits and host various internal training courses such as:
