Nebraska Humanitarian Award Recipient – Dr. Robert Rhodes

Congratulations to Dr. Robert Rhodes of Lincoln, Nebraska who was recently awarded the 2019 Nebraska COPIC Humanitarian Award in honor of Harold E. Williamson. Dr. Rhodes is a family practitioner at Southwest Family Hospital and is being recognized for his vision that helped Clinic with a Heart move from serving 20 patients a month to serving about 200 and from engaging 30 volunteers to engaging 600 volunteers. Dr. Rhodes is passionate about all aspects of Nebraska health care and has invested his time, talent, and resources to help make a difference in their community.

The COPIC Medical Foundation’s annual Humanitarian Award recognizes a volunteer physician in Nebraska and provides a $10,000 grant to health-related nonprofit organization of the recipient’s choice. After reviewing an impressive slate of candidates, Dr. Rhodes was selected as the 2019 recipient of this award.
